Terms of Service

Below are VOWG Studio’s standard Terms and Conditions. Please take time to read through our Terms and Conditions thoroughly and ensure you understand them before you commence a project with us. By requesting designs and/or services from VOWG Studio (“VOWG”), you agree to our Terms and Conditions and you are aware that you are entering a binding contract – payment is required.

1. General Conditions of Contract
  • 1.1   The following Terms and Conditions of Service apply to all services and artworks provided by VOWG.
  • 1.2   These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notification by VOWG.
  • 1.3   These Terms and Conditions apply to VOWG and all of its contractors and subsidiaries.
2. Above All
  • 2.1   We provide the design only. Printing service is not included.
  • 2.2   Copywriting content must be provided by the client.
3. Quotations
  • 3.1   Quotations are generated by VOWG based on the visual brief and expected time investment. Quotations may be subject to change if additional work is required.
  • 3.2   All time quotations are estimates and are based on calendar working (business) days. No quoted artwork delivery dates are guaranteed and can vary.
4. Payment
  • 4.1   A 50% deposit is required before proceeding with the design process.
  • 4.2   By remitting deposit funds to VOWG, the Client is accepting the Terms and Conditions and entering a contract with VOWG.
  • 4.3   Once the design is done, the remaining 50% balance payment must be paid immediately. VOWG reserves the right to not hand the artwork to the Client until payment has been received in full from the Client.
  • 4.4   A screenshot of the payment should be sent to WhatsApp or email to [email protected]
5. Amendment of the design
  • 5.1   VOWG reserves the right to charge additional costs if the Client requests amendments that are over the agreed scope, the original project outcome is altered, or further artwork is requested – refer to clause (3.1).
  • 5.2   The Client also agrees that VOWG holds no responsibility for any amendments made by any third party, before or after a design is published.
6. Cancellation
  • 6.1   If the Client requests the cancellation of a contract, a cancellation fee for work commenced or completed shall be paid by the Client, with the fee based on the stage of project completion.
    • a)   The fee will not exceed 100% of the total project cost. This fee will be based on hours already spent on the project.
    • b)   If the determined monies payable are less than the deposit paid, a refund will be issued by VOWG to the Client for the difference.
  • 6.2   VOWG reserves the right to decline to design for the Client at any time but has to pay back the amount of money the Client paid.
7. Approving Proofs / Designs / Errors
  • 7.1   The Client is held responsible for approving all artwork proofs and ensuring accuracy and suitability. This includes, but is not limited to design, spelling, grammar, illustrations, images and quantity. It is the responsibility of the Client to request another copy if the proof is difficult to read or changes are required.
8. Portfolio
  • 8.1   The finished design will be shown in the VOWG portfolio without the Client’s consent unless the Client requested to not display their project in VOWG’s portfolio.
  • 8.2   All design artwork will be allowed to be used by VOWG for portfolio purposes, and on the website for the sole purpose of advertising service.
9. Confidential
  • 9.1   The Client must inform VOWG before the project commences if any portion of any material or information provided by the Client is confidential.
10. Backup
  • 10.1   VOWG holds no responsibility for the backup of any final design(s) once supplied to the Client. After final delivery, backup arrangements can be quoted separately if requested by the Client.
